How local image processing works
Your browser decodes and encodes images without a server upload.
On your device
The browser reads selected files, draws them at the selected dimensions and encodes the output. Processing uses your device memory and CPU. A worker keeps supported browsers responsive; cancelling stops the current worker.
Practical limits
Select up to 30 files, 20 MB each and 100 MB total. Images are limited to 24 megapixels and 12,000 pixels per side. Outputs have a 100 MB batch limit. Device memory or browser storage can still limit processing below these caps.
Private result storage
Result blobs are saved in IndexedDB for one hour and are not uploaded. Expired records are removed on a later visit or while their result page is open. You can remove a result immediately using Delete result or clear site storage in browser settings.
